-----[Neo-Mobius, Tawashi Village, October 1st 11:30 AM]-----
The first day started to fly by for Freddy while he rubbed his thick socks together nervously hoping no one will notice he is in his socks at work. Until it was about 11:30 as they had served only fifteen customers at that point AS it was a mostly slow day. but then a familiar face walked in who knew Freddy from school. It was a light orange colored fox Mobian with a big red bow in her haired and a normal lab outfit on with long stockings and blue pumps that looked a bit big for her her name was Keikumi Kanou. A scientist that lived next door to Freddy and her sister Kaylee. "Hey there Sayumi i'm here to pick up my usual" she said to Sayumi before spotting Freddy over at the counter. "Got yourself a new employee I see?" "He's more like a friend then a co-worker. It's his first day." Sayumi said to Keikumi as she grabbed Keikumi the usual. As Keikumi gave out a slight chuckle before giving Freddy a smile as said to Sayumi. "well, you probably count yourself lucky to be working along side such a cutie huh?"Customer: he lets out a chuckle while flashing a smile at Freddy "well, you probably count yourself lucky to be working along side such a cutie huh?" Keikumi said before giving Sayumi a playful wink. "Well yeah. "She said before looking at Freddy who was blushing a bit as she hands Keikumi the bag with the usual bread and sweets. "That will be $15.25 and I hope you have a great day." Keikumi gladly pays and starts to head out the door before Stopping and look at Freddy. "cya tomorrow Sayumi. Oh and Freddy don't give Sayumi to much trouble ya hear!" Keikumi said with a chuckle before heading out the shop. As Sayumi walked over to the register and hands Freddy the money as he soon puts it in.

"Pay her no mind. After all it's your choice if you want to stay Freddy." Sayumi say's as she brush's her hair a bit as Freddy just gave her a smile and said. "Well I don't see myself leaving anytime soon besides the extra money could help." He said with a blush forming on his face as he looked into Sayumi's pink eyes. "besides I have other reasons I want to stay." "Ah i see." Sayumi say's as she walks around the counter and has him get off the stool so she can hug him. "Thank you besides your one of the reasons I want to stay in this town." Freddy just blushed heavily when he heard that and hugged her back with a nice big smile on his face and said. "I should be the one thanking you for giving me a chance." "Your welcome." Sayumi Said as she looked down at Freddy's socked feet as she remembered she had his boots on. "Say are your doing ok? As I worry they might be a little cold?" "Don't worry my socks are thick so my feet will be nice and warm." Freddy said trying to calm Sayumi's worries about him. "Well if you say so but if you want I can get you a spare pair of sneakers when I go out for delivery's this afternoon. hell if you want I could get you something like my Sneakers." Freddy just blushed as he rubbed the back of his head sheepishly as she said. "W...Well you don't need to go though the trouble. I can buy a new pair later during the week." "Well Alright but it's no trouble to me." Sayumi say's as she walks away from him to go to the kitchen. "Besides I like doing things for my friends" She say's over the clanging of metal as she was taking some new bread and cakes out of the oven and she soon walks towards the kitchen exit. "sorry about that i had to take the new bread and cakes out of the ovens." "You need any help in there?"

Freddy asked as he walked towards the kitchen door as none of them notice the loose wire from the vacuum cleaner near the doorway. "Nah I got in under contro....Ow..." Sayumi said as she soon tripped on the wire and fell on Freddy who caught her her just in time. Not noticing that Freddy's left boot stayed near the wire showing off her left socked foot. "whoa you ok Sayumi?" Freddy asked as he soon blushed at the sight of Sayumi's lovely socked foot as he just noticed she had lost a boot as she said. "yeah i'm fine just didn't notice that wire there. I need to remember to put that away after I clean." Sayumi Said as she got up and noticed her left boot was off. "Heh looks like I'm just one shoe loss away from both of us being shoeless." Freddy smiles a bit as picks up the boot. "but you make the look work for you." Freddy Said with a chuckle before giving her an apologetic smile. "can't help but feel it was my fault you got tripped up like that. guess my boots are to big and cumbersome for a place like this." Freddy Said with a small sigh. As Sayumi took off the other boot as she gets up from the floor. "Yeah I kinda do and yeah I guess the boots are a bit big for this place but they do feel good on my feet. Here you can have it back if you want." Freddy frowned a little as he knew Sayumi was done with wearing the boots for today and looking cute. "you sure? before you seemed to be really happy while wearing them." Freddy Said as he glanced at Sayumi's mismatched socks as Sayumi said. "Well I do like wearing them but I can't leave you in your socks all day. what kind of boss would I be if i did."

As she said that a Smile formed on Freddys face as he knew shew as looking after him and he soon slipped his boots back on and tied their laces. "Well..If you get the inkling to want to wear them again just let me know. Also, not sure if I'm overstepping here, But you looked really cute wearing my boots." Freddy said as he looked up at her, Noticing a slight blush on Sayumi's cheeks which soon went to a deep red color as she said. "Well thanks I think your the first person outside of my family to say that to me." "Well your welcome Sayumi. So how about we call lunch?" Sayumi just nodded but before Freddy could get the boxed lunch from his sister Sayumi spoke up. "you know what that would be good besides How about i make you a nice lunch as to celebrate your first day working here." "Um...Sure but My sister made me a lunch for today. But I could put it in the fridge or something." Freddy Said with an unsure smile as he hoped his sister would understand. "Sure besides you can use my fridge if you want it's just in the kitchen just watch out for that power cord." Sayumi said as Freddy went into the kitchen and when he got in there the smell of fresh baked bread entered his nose as it made his mouth water as he soon spotted the fridge and put the boxed lunch in it as Sayumi came into the kitchen in her socks still and started to make them some lunch.
